We’re Rosco 5, a writing and directing duo who make comedy TV and shorts. We directed the series Juice for BBC Three, which was nominated for three BAFTAs (and won Best Male Comedy Performance), picked up an RTS Award for Best Comedy Drama, and earned us a nomination for Best Director.
Beyond Juice, we’ve made various bits for TV. Last year we shot a pilot that was picked up for series... then dramatically cancelled (long story, not our fault). We also developed a sitcom for a US network which didn’t go to series (shorter story, probably our fault). Most recently, we directed a short-form pilot called Zoners for the BBC, which will be out later this year.
We’re currently writing our debut feature with the BFI and Hillbilly Films, and will directing a BBC One series in Ireland this summer. If you want to work with us—or just enjoy the stench of our guff—please do get in touch.
